Awarded Architecture is a service provided by Ivo Tavares Studio Unipessoal Lda, headquartered in Aveiro, Portugal, tax ID (NIF) 509997791.
Awarded Architecture is an online catalog of architecture awards, national and international, with filtering, email alerts and bookmarking features, made available on an annual subscription basis. It also includes public editorial content, such as the Featured page, where award-winning projects submitted by users are published, and practical guides.
Prices shown on the site are stated excluding VAT — the final amount includes VAT at the legally applicable rate. The total amount, VAT included, is always shown before payment is confirmed.
The subscription is annual and does not renew automatically: it ends at the close of each 12-month period, and access is only extended when the user chooses to renew, at the price then in effect — except for Founder subscriptions, whose price is locked as set out in section 4.1. The user is notified by email and within the account ahead of the end date. A subscription can also be actively cancelled at any time from the account or by contacting Customer Support, taking effect at the end of the period already paid for — there is no pro-rata refund of the current period.
During the Founder phase — which closes when the Founder seat limit is reached or on the closing date, whichever comes first, as shown on the site — the first subscriptions are contracted at the Founder price. A Founder subscription keeps that base price (excluding VAT) on every renewal for as long as the subscription is not interrupted, even after the list prices change. Discounts that apply (referral credits, testimonial credit, partner or promotional codes) are always calculated on the subscription's own base price. A subscription is considered interrupted if it is cancelled, or if it is not renewed within 30 days after its end date; whoever subscribes again after an interruption pays the price in effect at that moment, and only has the Founder price again if the Founder phase is still open. Switching to a different plan is priced at the Founder price of that plan while the phase is open, and at the price then in effect afterwards.
Payments are processed via MB WAY or credit/debit card, through a third-party payment service provider. Awarded Architecture does not store payment card data.
Each user has a personal referral code. Correct use of the code is subject to the conditions described in the user's account and may be adjusted or discontinued at any time, without retroactive effect on discounts already applied.
Information about awards (dates, fees, requirements) is collected and reviewed periodically, but originates from third parties (organizing entities) and may change outside our control. We always recommend confirming final details with the organizing entity before any submission or entry-fee payment.
The content, design and organization of Awarded Architecture are the property of Ivo Tavares Studio Unipessoal Lda, and may not be reproduced or redistributed without prior authorization.
Users can submit content to Awarded Architecture, namely the details of an award they won, and, if they want the project to be featured, its name, location, description, photographs, the names of the studio and the photographer, and testimonials about the service.
By submitting content, the user declares that they hold the necessary rights over it or have the permission of its authors (including the photographer and the studio), and that its publication does not infringe the rights of third parties. The user is responsible for the content they submit.
The user grants Ivo Tavares Studio Unipessoal Lda a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to reproduce, communicate to the public and adapt (crop, resize, translate and summarise) the submitted content for the operation and promotion of Awarded Architecture: on the website, on its social networks and in its newsletters and other communications, always crediting the studio and the photographer. The authors keep all their rights and may license the content to others. The licence lasts for as long as the content is published and ends, for future uses, when it is removed.
Publication is an editorial decision: we may decline, edit, translate or withdraw any content. Appearing on the Featured page does not constitute an endorsement, a ranking or an official recognition by the organizers of the award. To request the removal of any content, contact Customer Support; we remove it from the site and stop using it in new communications within a reasonable time, and delete it from social networks and newsletters where that is technically possible.
Testimonials are published with the name, studio and country of the author only if the author has authorised it when submitting.
Awarded Architecture is not the organizer of any of the listed awards and is not responsible for decisions, results or date changes made by the organizing entities.
